India's Mission to moon Chandrayaan 1 and Chandrayaan 2

Chandrayaan 1
Chandrayaan 1 was the first Indian lunar prob under chandrayaan  program.
It was launched by ISRO on 22nd October 2008 and operated till August 2009 the mission include a lunar orbiter and an impactor.
the chandrayaan was launched drom satish Dhawan Space Centre,at Shriharikota,Andhra Pradesh.
The vechile was inserted into lunar orbit on 8 November 2008.

Chandrayaan 2
The mission was launched on 22 july 2019 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre by a GSLV MK 3 .The craft reached the moon on 20 august 2019 and began orbital positing for the land of Vikram lander.Vikram and the rover is designed so that it land near side of moon in the south polar reign.
The land deviated from its intended tragectory starting at 2.1 km and lost communication when touchdown confirmation was expected.
